US President Donald Trump has called on Ukraine to choose new leadership, saying Volodymyr Zelenskyy should reach an agreement with Russia to end the war.
Trump also held responsible Zelenskyy for climbing fuel costs in the United States, warning Kyiv to cease hitting Russian oil refineries he argues could deliver American fuel.
The statements came on 10 October 2026, the same day Britain's Prime Minister held a separate phone call with Zelenskyy, according to the UK government.
