Macklin Celebrini joined back the squad and scored a goal during a narrow defeat to the Edmonton Oilers. The rookie forward, after being out of action, appeared in the game with another youngster Will Smith, who played in the big league. Despite the loss, the Sharks saw a bright spot as Ivar Stenberg scored his first career NHL goal during a different match against the Boston Bruins.
